The Trading Stop That EVERY Trader Needs
It's not often that we talk about a stop, but WaveTrader includes a stop that is a must-have for you're trading arsenal. Trade Management, this something we can not stress enough, and with the all-new Trailing Pivot Stop provide your trades with the room to move and continue on its path to profits, yet it also does an outstanding job of exiting the trade at the optimal point.
Here's how it works. As a trade progresses, the Trailing Pivot Stop will detect various sizes of pivots in price activity. Once a pivot is detected, it will move the stop to a predetermined distance from that pivot.
Here’s an example. Take a look at this chart for Salesforce. After taking a position in May or 2020, the stock makes steady gains while pulling back multiple times. Each pullback creates a pivot. The new Trailing Pivot Stop recognizes the pivots and them places a stop just below them.
This stop allows to realize these consistent gains until the stop explodes in August for a massive gain. This proved to be the end of the run, but the Trailing Pivot Stop was able to capture almost ALL of that move for an impressive 50% profit!
